Teaching through nursery rhymes (animals )

On 19/09/2019  Thursday I taught domestic and wild animals through rhymes in class I B English.I downloaded short clip related to my topic in order to motivate children in better learning.They were found enjoying the song with the caption below.Children could remember the spellings of animals names as well as the sentences.With the provided facilities really benefits younger children in learning by watching real things.

I could engage my children actively during my lesson.Using  the clip children described well about the foods, color, size,and homes of animals.They could create the song drawing other animals with caption.For example What do you see? I  see a fish/ frog.Children learn to write parallel sentences using different animals and sing a song.They also improve in drawing,spelling and  handwriting.

We can teach the process of writing letters and sounds of letters.Using the downloaded clips we can revise the lesson especially reading out simple words and naming the pictures.

    Downloaded short clips can be helpful in teaching and infusing the concept of the topic that we want to teach. It can be used again when needed and children becomes attentative when teaching is with ICT. Keep using it as it's the must from our part in teaching learning process.

    Shifting teaching method from text to digital world. At the same time you also need to be cautious about the clips that you use from YouTube and need to keep in mi d about the time management. Our children would engross them selves with ict and they would never look back if proper guidance is not given. Keep it up!!!

    Nice way of teaching our small kids through audio visual. Children love watching cartoon type movies plus loves to sing rhymes with any kind of lyrics. Such ICT tools helps them in their retention power... Keep going

    Wow! What a nice way of teaching our small children through audio visual. Children loves watching cartoon movies whereby they learn a lot through such means.

    Our children loves to sing rhymes with audio and visual aids. So integrating such type of ICT tools in the process of our teaching and learning will definitely help them in their retention power too.
